VISIONS OF ATLANTIS Singer To Record Classical Solo Album?

October 31, 2007

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS' Minnesota-based vocalist Melissa Ferlaak is contemplating recording a classical solo album. "I'm thinking of NOT doing arias because, well, I can't afford an orchestra," she writes on her MySpace page. "I'm thinking art songs with piano, violin and/or classical guitar. Maybe even write some original songs... I dont know yet."

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS's latest album, "Trinity", was released in May via Napalm Records. The CD was recorded at Dreamscape Studios and was mastered at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland. The CD's cover artwork was created by Anthony Clarkson, who has previously worked with BLIND GUARDIAN, HYPOCRISY and EXODUS, among others.
